It's not work if it's fun.

Remember at the beginning of the month I talked about opportunities? Well, last night I attended a meeting for a local charity organization and am happy to announce that I'm the new Marketing Chairperson. The name of the organization isn't important now; I'll post info at a later date regarding the event we are planning. I'm really excited to donate my time and skills in a way that will benefit women not only in Austin, but around the world.

I'm not sure what exactly I was expecting, but the women I met last night are worldly, intellectual, and downright hilarious. I was trying to contain my laughter so I wouldn't start a pneumonia coughing fit and failed miserably, but it was so much fun. Fantastic group. I can't wait to get started.
