This weekend, the three of us did all things Austin and it was a great reminder of why we love living here. On Saturday, we went up in the UT Tower for a birds eye view of the city and the hills. It was a spectacular sight! We then meandered along Guadalupe and found dinner at Texadelphia to fill up on Texas cheesesteaks before heading over to Toy Joy. After reminiscing for 2 hours, we purchased a magnifying bug container and a tin of dominoes, the latter of which will be great entertainment for rainy camping weekends.Today being Father's day, my husband requested a bowling outing and some bbq for dinner. We landed at 300 Austin and 2 games later we were feeling hunger pangs. A road trip out to Driftwood took us to The Salt Lick which ended with warm pecan pie topped with fresh vanilla ice cream.
Ahhh...Austin!
