Boys will be boys

I realized I hadn't posted any "mama" related stories, so here's one from today.
My son is in kindergarten and has weekly homework that involves cutting pictures or writing words of the 2 letters of the week on a sheet of brightly colored construction paper. This week was "T" and "L".

This evening, my husband, son, and I gathered around the kitchen table to cut photos from magazines and help him spell words. Words like "table", "taco", and "lettuce" were discussed as good possibilities. We found a picture of a ladder and one of lightning. There was also a telephone, television, and tomatoes.

But the one picture that he glued to his page and giggled about was "toilet". I'm sure his teacher will be so impressed.
